Server Dashboard

An overview of your server's dashboard and what you can do from it.

What is the dashboard?

The server dashboard is the main control centre for your Vigil-connected DayZ server. From here you can see your server's live status, control it, browse recent activity, and configure all your modules.

Server status bar

At the top of the dashboard, the Server Control card shows:

  • Online / Offline / Restarting — the current status of your Nitrado game server, updated every 5 seconds
  • Restart and Stop buttons — trigger a restart or shutdown directly from the dashboard (requires owner or member with controls permission)
  • Player count — how many players are currently connected out of your server's maximum capacity

Clicking the player count card opens a side panel showing the names of all currently online players, pulled in real time from your server's live log.

Activity feed

The activity feed shows a live stream of recent events from your server — kills, deaths, connections, builds, and more. You can:

  • Click a player's name to open their player profile panel (stats, history, ban/whitelist controls)
  • Click a kill event to see the full weapon and location details
  • Click a location coordinate to open an interactive map view

The feed updates automatically and shows the most recent events across all types.

Modules

Click Modules to see all available modules and configure the ones you've enabled. Each module shows its current status (enabled/disabled) and a summary of its configuration.

Team members

If you're the server owner, you can invite other Discord users to your server's dashboard as members. You control what each member can do:

  • Which modules they can configure
  • Whether they can use server controls (restart/stop)
  • Whether they can access the Embed Builder

Members see the same dashboard but only have access to what you've granted them.

Server settings

From the dashboard you can update:

  • Your server name (displayed in module embeds as {server_name})
  • Your Nitrado token and Service ID
  • Your server's timezone (used for timestamps on events)
