Welcome to Vigil
The modular server management platform for DayZ console servers on Nitrado.
Vigil is a server management platform built exclusively for DayZ console server owners running on Nitrado. It watches your server logs around the clock, processes events the moment they happen, and delivers everything straight to your Discord — exactly the way you configured it.
No bots to host. No commands to learn. No technical setup beyond pasting your Nitrado token and a Discord webhook URL.
What Vigil does
Vigil connects to your Nitrado server and reads your live game logs every 30 seconds. Every kill, death, connection, build event, and more is picked up and sent to the Discord channels you've set up — in real time.
You control exactly what gets posted, how it looks, and where it goes. Every feature is a module — enable only what you need, configure each one independently.
Key features at a glance
Kill Feed
Real-time PvP kills posted to Discord with weapon, distance, headshot detection, and kill streaks.
Hit Feed
PvP hits, infected attacks, and vehicle collisions in real time. Vehicle hits are automatically compacted.
Connect Feed
Track who joins and leaves your server. Flags first-time players and detects combat loggers automatically.
Economy
A full server economy — players earn coins for kills, survival, and daily logins. Spend in your custom shop.
Alt Detection
Cross-references console device IDs from your server's RPT log to identify players using alternate accounts.
Safezone Enforcement
Define coordinate-based safezones. Alert admins and optionally auto-ban players who kill inside them.
Heatmap
Visual kill and activity heatmaps overlaid on your server's map, generated automatically after restarts.
Built for console
Console DayZ has always been the platform that gets left behind. No RCON, no admin panel, no real-time data. Vigil was built from the ground up with those limitations in mind — it works entirely within what Nitrado and console DayZ actually expose.
Getting started
If you're setting up Vigil for the first time, the Quick Start guide will have you up and running in under five minutes.
